Q: What should I wear?

A: We recommend that you layer your clothing as weather conditions can vary during your cruise. Be prepared for the sun with sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat that won’t blow off. Waterproof windbreakers, heavy jackets, hats and gloves will keep you warm and protect you from the cool wind chill, fog and sea spray. Shoes should be comfortable with non-skid bottoms such as topsiders or tennis shoes (no open-toed or black-soled shoes).

Q: How long does it take to see San Francisco Bay?

A: There are many great places to see in the Bay, but you can see a lot in 2 to 4 hours on a sailboat. In that time, you can sail under the Golden Gate Bridge (conditions allowing), cruise the San Francisco waterfront, get a close-up look at famous Alcatraz Island, sail through beautiful Raccoon Straits and enjoy the views of Sausalito. If you have more time, you can see some of the Bay’s islands, including Angel, Yerba Buena and Treasure Islands, sail under the Bay Bridge and have time for a leisurely snack or lunch on the boat.
